The Sun City West Pickleball Club, in partnership with the Sun City West Foundation, completed the Fun In The Sun “All for Charity” Pickleball Tournament and Ball Drop on March 7.
The charity event benefitted seven important Sun City West non-profit organizations, includig the Sun City West Foundation - Helping Hands, Sun City West Posse, PRIDES, The Community Fund of Sun City West, Property Owners and Residents Association, Northwest Valley Connect, and Arizona Fire & Medical Authority Fire Corps Charities.
The three-day event raised $61,658 for charity this year. The funds are distributed to the seven local charities first, based on the number of pickleball drop tickets each benefitting charity sold through each organization and the remainder of the proceeds went into the overall fund.
