National operator Pegasus Senior Living was awarded the designation of Best Senior Living for 12 of its communities by a national circulation publication.

Pegasus’ Sun City West community, Sun City West Assisted Living, 13810 W. Sandridge Drive, was one of the 12 facilities honored.

The designation of Best Senior Living goes only to those communities that satisfy the publication’s objective statistical assessment of each senior living community’s performance from consumer satisfaction surveys administered between March 2021 and February 2022, reflecting the viewpoints of more than 200,000 current residents and family members of residents living in thousands of senior living communities nationwide.

“The old real estate adage is location, location, location — with us, it’s reputation, reputation, reputation,” Chris Hollister, Pegasus co-founder, CEO and chairman, stated in a press release.

The other Pegasus communities awarded the designation were Bridgewood Gardens Assisted Living in Albertville, Alabama, Best Assisted Living; Castlewoods Place in Brandon, Missouri., Best Memory Care; Historic Roswell Place in Roswell, Georgia, Best Memory Care; The Landing at Queensbury in Queensbury, New York, Best Assisted Living, Best Memory Care; Ridgeland Place in Ridgeland, Missouri, Best Assisted Living; The Seasons of Reno in Reno, Nevada, Best Assisted Living, Best Memory Care; South Hill Village Senior Living in Spokane, Washington, Best Memory Care; Sterling Court at Roseville in Roseville, California, Best Assisted Living, Best Memory Care; The Renaissance of Florence in Florence, Alabama, Best Assisted Living; Town Village Crossing in Arlington, Texas, Best Independent Living; and Tucson Place at Ventana Canyon in Tucson, Best Assisted Living.

Pegasus Senior Living was formed in 2018 by Steven Vick and Chris Hollister, senior living pioneers with more than 50 years of combined experience leading various senior living organizations. Pegasus manages 36 senior living communities across the country, 34 of which are held in a joint venture with its capital partner, Welltower, Inc.
