Sun City West club enjoys beach party luncheon

Members of Sun City West’s Rip ’N’ Sew Club recently hosted a Summer Survivor Beach Party Luncheon.

Joan Hardy headed the planning committee that included Eva Weisberg and Karen Everett, but when one of the committee members got sick, Hardy called in help: her husband, Bob, along with Rip ’N’ Sew members Lynn Craig and Louise Howden.

Fortunately, ailing party planner Everett was well by party time. She greeted guests and handed them flowery leis.

Table decorations included faux tropical leaves, paper pineapples, miniature beach huts, colorful napkins and other beach-themed items. The hosts and helpers all wore festive aprons with tropical or beach prints. The aprons helped because this group served the food, too.
