Rip ’N’ Sew’s spring luncheon centered on the theme "Fiesta Ole." Most of the club’s members attended the party, which followed the April monthly meeting at Johnson Social Hall.
Party committee members included table decorations, matching ponchos, flower decorations for everyone’s hair, fiesta music and a Mexican-themed meal from U.S. Pizza in Surprise. Committee members served the lunch of burritos, rice, beans, chips and salsa, churros and horchata.
Rip ’N’ Sew members also brought nonperishable food or cash for the Valley View Community Food Bank in Sun City.
