With the re-publication of her debut novel, “Red Flash,” in 2025, followed by the newly released “Tears of Iemanjá,” author Rita Hanner-Ward, writing as Kiva Wolfe, officially launches the “Gem Provenance Legacy,” a romantic-suspense-adventure series set in the high-stakes world of the international gem trade.
The series follows a haunted protagonist whose search for a legendary diamond pulls him from Colorado’s opulent Capitol Hill into Brazil’s underworld, where history, myth and danger collide. Blending romance, suspense and international intrigue, the “Gem Provenance Legacy” explores the cost of truth, the weight of inheritance and the lengths one man will go to reclaim his life.
Hanner-Ward began writing the series more than 30 years ago, but life demanded a long pause. After navigating personal challenges — including care-giving during her late husband’s final years — she returned to her work with renewed purpose.
