A recent donation to the Banner Olive Branch Senior Center will help to ensure food availability for those in need.
The senior center received a $5,000 donation from St. Mary’s to support pantry operations at the senior center. Banner Olive Branch Senior Center team members Heike Newman, Angela Bertty, Jennifer Lawless and Sharon Christensen accepted the donation from St. Mary’s Food Bank representative Yocelyn Ruiz.
Senior center director Lawless said officials are grateful to have the support of Banner Health, however, only 48% of funding comes from this organization. The remainder is covered by grants and donations.
