As volunteers at the book sales and Thursday night movies to raise funds for The Friends Of The Library, we would like to thank Stacie, Larry and Bryce Woods and their many volunteers, who have the huge job of collecting hundreds of books, marking them, storing them and putting them out for the yearly book sales, and Nina Scozzari for working with her volunteers to obtain the weekly movies, obtain the projectionists, greeters, hearing aid distributors and ushers.

As Larry Woods stated in an article, the Friends contribute tens of thousands of dollars to our fine library each year.
During this period of time, when there are so many ways to feel negative in our lives (COVID, extreme heat, political dissension, etc.), I wrote this small note of appreciation to highlight the people who take it upon themselves to show the positivity of some seniors.
They are a true blessing in our community.
