Facilities in Sun City West are back open and residents are getting back to activities, but safety remains key in order to continue moving in the right direction, according to Recreation Centers of Sun City West officials.
RCSCW Governing Board President George Kuchtyak told Rec Center Show host Gary Cohen March 22 the board is thrilled to have facilities available to everyone and asked residents when at a facility to thank the monitors and facility assistants that have been working hard to keep facilities clean and safe. Additionally, masks remain a requirement when visiting indoor facilities.
While residents continue to use the pools, social distancing of six feet remains in effect. Mr. Kuchtyak said people have heard talk of the distance being decreased, but until RCSCW officials get official word from the governor’s office, it will remain as is.
