R.H. Johnson Pool deck is resurfaced, work continues around the pool

The work schedule on the R.H. Johnson Pool is on track and looking good, according to Recreation Centers of Sun City West officials.

General Services Officer Katy O’Grady said crews are still working on putting flex material between the joints at the drain and the coping around the pool. Once that work is done, a sealer-topcoat will be placed on the deck. 

Demolition began Oct. 5 and it took about two weeks of surface preparation, with the completion scheduled for the end of this month.
