Thanks to the Palo Verde Patchers’ 501c3 status, the biennial quilt show of 2024 provided enough funds from the club’s treasury to donate funds to two organizations that benefit every resident of Sun City West.
A check for $2,500 each was given to the Community Fund and the SCW Foundation.
Members of Palo Verde Patchers voted on which organizations were to receive the donations, which are in addition to the other work the club does benefiting so others while enjoying the art of quilting.
