My name is Doris “Dori” Miller. I am married to John Miller. We have lived in Sun City West for 20 years. John and I have eight children between the two of us. We have 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. My mom and dad moved to Arizona in 1977 and then Sun City West in 1985.
I was born in Lorain, Ohio, and although I lived in Ohio for 61 years, Sun City West is truly my forever home. I worked for the Rec Center since 2010 retiring Dec. 22. I have met so many wonderful residents and have made many friends.
This is a wonderful community to live in. The amenities that we have are top notch. The employees strive to make this community better every day. They are the backbone of Sun City West and keep it running like a well-oiled machine! The chartered clubs are the lifeline of this community and give the residents so much to do. I feel that my knowledge of the community and clubs will help other members understand how this community works. I want to do my part to make Sun City West a better community. Isn’t that why we all live here? I will be attending TORCH to learn more. This community needs to work together and be proud of what we have here.
