The first draft of the master plan will be unveiled at the Governing Board Workshop from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, in the Lecture Hall at R.H. Johnson Recreation Center, 19803 N. R.H. Johnson Blvd.
Jason Genck from BerryDunn will present the master plan in an organized final draft. Member questions are encouraged at this meeting. The meeting will be available on the RCSCW YouTube page at youtube.com/@SunCityWestArizona.
An additional presentation will also be that same day inside the R.H. Johnson Social Hall, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
The adoption of the master plan will then be voted on by the board at the October regular board meeting 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Lecture Hall.
A formal community announcement Jan. 14 will guide future decisions related to recreation facilities, programs, golf operations, wellness amenities and long-term sustainability across the community.
RCSCW hired BerryDunn to support this effort through community engagement, analysis and development of planning recommendations.
