Jones: Poor driving comments hit home

This article and past articles are hitting way to close to home for us. Over the past week we’ve almost been sideswiped a few times by drivers who can’t maintain their lane for whatever reason coming within inches of hitting us, and when I honk to get them to move over

I either get a glare or a single finger salute as they continue to weave their way down the road.

As for the issue of turning at any intersection, it has been stated before that if people would just follow the law by turning into the proper lane instead of cutting all the way across then all people turning will be able to complete their maneuvers safely.

I fully believe that it’s time to institute more testing of aged people. Heck, there are many people driving who can barley see over the wheel, barely park their car without hitting something or in the proper lane.
