Friedman: Sun City West Foundation offers help to those in need

Are you trying to decide which bill to pay, or perhaps having to choose between purchasing groceries or medicine? If you find yourself in that situation, the Community Fund of Sun City West is here to help.

A 501(c)(3), the Community Fund of Sun City West is a nonprofit organization that exists solely to help Sun City West residents in need of financial assistance. Call our hotline at 623-546-1122 to see if you qualify for help. One of our trained volunteers will walk you through the process; all information is confidential.

With over 40 years of experience in assisting Sun City West residents, the Community Fund of Sun City West has been helping residents with such expenses as rent or mortgage, emergency medical bills, groceries and more. Do you need help? Call us at 623-546-1122. The hotline is available 24 hours a day. Leave a message and a volunteer will return your call.

Don’t need financial assistance but want to help? Check out our website at www.communityfundsuncitywest.org to donate. Don’t like making donations online? Checks can be sent to 13940 W. Meeker Blvd. No. 115, Sun City West, AZ 85375. All funds remain here in our community, and we do not receive outside funding from elsewhere.

Did you know we are an Arizona tax qualifying organization? The maximum credit donation amount for 2023 is $421 for a single person, married person filing separately, or head of household; $841 for a married couple filing jointly.
