Elbe: New pre-sale inspection bad idea

Recreation Centers of Sun City West board and general manager just keep coming up with bad ideas.

Their latest is a CC&R pre-sale Inspection. Ever since Del Webb started Sun City West, we have not needed or wanted anything like this foolish endeavor. I feel that this is just the California housing police moving into our once nice place to live.

The next thing that will happen it that Sun City West will become the land of no. No, you can’t do that here; no, you can’t paint your House that color; no, you can’t shingle your roof that shade; no, the fence police told you your fence or wall is wrong; no, your Landscaping is wrong. That is what the escapees from California tell me and that is why they came here — to get away from that excessive control.

We never had any problems in 40 some years with the Village Store of clubs selling stuff until the current Sun City West management took the reins. It just boggles my mind to think that the U.S. government Internal Revenue Service has targeted our clubs for occasional sales. They can’t even process the 2019 tax returns in a timely manner.

Billions of dollars in illegal drug money all escaping the IRS tax collectors and they are coming after the little elderly ladies in the Sewing club? Yeah, right!
