Darian started the Healing Project in March 2023 in an old chapel space that was being used for storage at The Church of the Palms in Sun City, but when the group outgrew that space, the connection was made with community partner Banner Olive Branch Senior Center.
A special focus of the Healing Project is providing education and support to older adults, an age group that commonly experiences multiple losses in the final decades of life. The support circles include healing, story and artshare for participants.
