The interchange design has evolved since this project first sparked the concern of Sun City West residents living near the projected site of Loop 303/15th Avenue Traffic Interchange Project.
The project is in partnership with the Maricopa Association of Governments and the City of Surprise and in coordination with the Maricopa County Department of Transportation.
According to the ADOT website, “This project seeks to address growing traffic volumes in the Surprise and Sun City West areas and alleviate congestion at the existing US 60/Loop 303 interchange and the US 60/163rd Avenue intersection.
