Sun City National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Honorary Chapter Regent Shirley Staggs and Chapter Regent Twila Lobitz presented the surviving spouse 50th Vietnam War era commemorative pin packet to chapter member Linda West.
West’s husband, George West, served in both the United States Army and U.S. Navy between April 4, 1952 and March 29, 1971. He retired from the military after serving in Korea and Vietnam and received the following: Airborne, Merit Badge, Combat Rifleman Medal, two Presidential Citations and the Korean War Medal. George West passed away March 1999.
