It is the time of year when the Recreation Centers of Sun City West committees review the proposed budget, prior to it being presented to the directors on the governing board.
The Chartered Clubs Committee, led by Donna Maloney, met Feb. 9 to further discuss the capital budget on items more than $50,000. James Riley, RCSCW clubs and programs manager, informed the committee the information technology department chose a vendor for new club software that will be available at a future date. It was approved last year as a means to monitor club participation.
Karl Wilhelm, RCSCW project manager, explained the enclosure requested for the aquatics lobby at Beardsley Recreation Center, 12755 W Beardsley Road. David Bennett, RCSCW senior facility supervisor, asked to enclose the lobby, similar to to the R.H. Johnson aquatics center, 19803 R.H. Johnson Blvd.
