BIRTHDAYS
Club members offer birthday salutes
Posted
Two Sun City residents, both veterans, recently celebrated their birthdays.
One, Louis J. Warfel, is the son of Joe Warfel, of the Vintage Vehicles Club of Sun City, and is a veteran of World War II. He is a father of 15 children, 40 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren.
The second is Herb Carson, also a member of the car club.
In pre-COVID times, these individual would have been honored with a event and dinner, but instead, the Vintage Vehicle Club paid tribute with a drive-by salute, dropping off a card with notes of thanks.
