A new fitness studio is now available at Briarwood Country Club, part of ongoing renovations being undertaken by the new owner.
Briarwood, 20800 N. 135th Ave. in Sun City West, was purchased by Swing First Golf LLC in July 2024 and has undergone several changes under the new ownership. The fitness studio is part of the renovations that feature new paint, carpet, light fixtures, bathrooms and the addition of two new fireplaces, according to Briarwood Social and Events Director Michele Malo.
In addition to the fitness studio, six pickleball courts and an arts-and-crafts space will be added. Malo said officials hope to have those projects completed by the end of the year. A cost for the changes has not been released.
