The summer months are here and Sun City West Foundation officials are hoping to connect with residents with a sweet treat.

An ice cream social is planned 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, at the Sun City West Foundation, 14465 W. R.H. Johnson Blvd.

The event is free and will provide dairy-free, sugar-free and regular ice cream options. Games will also be offered with a chance to win prizes. The treats and prizes are donated by Eileen Freydberg with Home Smart Realty.
