Warmath: SCHOA members have voting opportunities

Posted

Sun City is wonderful because the residents care about so many important things and each other.

One way to give back to this wonderful community is to vote at local elections. Sun City Home Owners Association has an election coming up soon and would appreciate your participation.

There are three board positions available. Expiring terms are for Lloyd Maple, Art Jenkins and Jerry Walczak. The candidates running for these seats are Pam Schwartz, Jim Powell, George Courtot and Dennis Carlson. SCHOA members can begin voting Monday, Nov. 4 online at suncityhoa.org or in person at the SCHOA office, 10401 W. Coggins Drive.

Online voting ends 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17. All in person ballots must be received by 2:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15.

There is another opportunity to meet the candidates during the SCHOA Health and Wellness Expo 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6 at Sundial Recreation Center, 14801 N. 103rd Ave.

If there are any questions, please call Sun City Home Owners Association at 623-974-4718.
