Sun City residents looking to get a workout in will have to go somewhere other than the Sundial fitness center, 14801 N. 103rd Ave., until mid-September, officials say.
The fitness center, located inside the Sundial Recreation Center, closed June 1 and is currently undergoing its most extensive renovation since the recreation center’s roof collapsed in 2006. The project includes new exercise equipment, televisions, flooring and bathroom upgrades.
Sam Oatman, who oversees Sun City’s recreation centers, said he is eager for members to experience the improvements when the fitness center reopens.
