For some in the Women’s Social Club of Sun City, the best part of the game isn’t winning — it’s having a place to go, people to meet and something fun to do.

The club, which is home to roughly 150 Sun City women, is open 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. seven days a week in room 215 of the Lakeview Recreation Center, 10626 W. Thunderbird Blvd.

Its members play all sorts of games, including mahjong, canasta, hand and foot, bridge and Rummikub.
