The Sun City Ukulele Club has been committed to giving its members opportunities to enhance their playing skills. For example, professional Tommy Anderson offered two workshops dealing with chord families, parallel structure, economy of motion, transposing, major and minor scales and more. Members could attend the workshop that best fit their individual needs or attend both if they desired. The club meets 3 p.m. Thursdays at the Fairway Music Room and is open to RCSC members. No previous skills are needed. Visit scukes.org or contact club president Trudy Bryson at 480-276-3780 or trudybryson@cox.net for more information.
