Marine veteran Roy Parker and his wife Chris donated 265 crocheted caps, three crocheted shawls and two crocheted lap robes to Sun City’s National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Agua Fria chapter, to be given to Arizona veterans.
The caps, along with other items, will be donated to the Prescott veterans administration center, which supplies a rehab center, a hospital and a nursing home with donated items from different organizations and individuals.
Chapter members donated skeins of yarn to help continue their hobby.
