Banner Imaging Lakes, 10474 W. Thunderbird Blvd., suite 100, received a donation of $13,300 from the Sun City North Golf Course, the results of the group’s 27th annual Pink Ribbon golf tournament.
Funds received have recently been utilized to upgrade the software on Banner Imaging Lakes’s ultrasound systems, resulting in improved imaging capabilities and functionality. In addition to the upgrading of the software to the newest version available, funds were used to purchase new high-frequency ultrasound transducers specifically for breast imaging.
Because of the Sun City North Golf Course charity tournament donations, Banner Imaging Lakes will have the most up-to-date and newest technology available to support breast ultrasound leading to better diagnosis of breast pathology.
