Shirley Staggs, honorary chapter regent of the Sun City National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Agua Fria Chapter, presented chapter Daughter JoAnn Zeller with the Vietnam War Era 50th Commemorative Surviving Spouse pin and a patriotic lab robe. The lap robe was a donation from the Sun City Bell Stitchers Club. Zeller’s husband Ralph served in the Marines, the Iowa Air Guard Reserve and after moving to Arizona, served in the Luke Air Force Reserve. He was a jet mechanic. Their two sons also served in the Marines, and both sons retired as lieutenant colonels. Visit aguafria.arizonadar.org for more information.
