With technology becoming such a big part of life in 2026, Sun City residents have the opportunity to learn how to best utilize it for $15 a year with the Computer Club of Sun City, meeting in the Fairway Recreation Center, 10600 W. Peoria Ave.
“We have 80 year olds that fought this for 35, 40 years and now they want to upload,” said Alan Ruda, the club’s president. “The way the world turned, people have to use it now… They want to learn how to do this stuff.”
According to Ruda, some residents are “scared” to use new technology. That is why the club’s members have the opportunity to attend workshops and classes led by the group’s volunteers.
