Lakeview United Methodist Church, 10298 W. Thunderbird Blvd., has announced the menus for its meal/fellowship program of TNT (Thursday Night Together) for June.

Meals begin at 5 p.m. in Smoot Hall and consist of a salad bar, entree, dessert and beverage (iced water, lemonade, iced tea, coffee). After the meals, there will be a program or a guest speaker.

In addition, there will be a performance after the June 6 meal by harpist Dr. Heidi Hernandez, who has played the harp for more than 30 years. She has performed regularly at the Phoenix Symphony for the past 20 seasons and also leads HarpSynergy, the harp ensemble of her current and former students that has performed and competed internationally. The concert begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Worship Center. Tickets are not required; a free-will offering will be accepted.

The meals are prepared by Chef Larnell Benton and cost $8 per person for each meal. Reservations must be made by 4 p.m. the Tuesday before the event. For reservations or further information, contact the church office at 623-974-5821, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday.

The dates, programs and menus are: June 6 - harp concert (country style ribs, scalloped potatoes, green beans, rolls); June 13 - online ministry update (smoked sausage with peppers and onions, red beans and rice, cornbread); June 20 - Pastor Dave’s final words (roasted pork loin, rice pilaf, roasted vegetables, rolls); June 27 - annual conference reflections (smothered chicken, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables).
