Sun City bowling set for major improvement

The Recreation Centers of Sun City board of directors unanimously passed a first reading of a recommendation from the bowling committee to enter the design phase for a Lakeview Lanes renovation. According to RCSC Director Jana Mapes, the RCSC is expecting the project to cost $1.2 million.

The project is set to include improving the front counter, locker room and offices.

Mapes, who was the maker of the motion, said the project will benefit workflow for staff members.
