Phyllis Still Brescia, 88, passed away on March, 21, 2024. She was born in Nevada, Missouri, to George Farold Hill and Alice Valentine Hosfield Hill. The family soon moved to Chillicothe, Missouri, where she grew up and graduated from the Chillicothe High School in 1953. She married John Lawrence Still in 1954 and they had 3 children. When they divorced she returned to Chillicothe and worked as a bookkeeper, later earning an Associate’s Degree in Accounting at Trenton Junior College. After raising her children and caring for her parents she moved to Sun City, Arizona, continuing to work in accounting and as church secretary. She married Peter Brescia, who predeceased her. Phyllis was active in her community and church, and she enjoyed planning and participating in activities with her friends in the local Red Hat Society. She is survived by her children Jay (Bonnie) Still, George (Lisa) Still, and Julie (Frank Campbell) Still, grandchildren Jamie, Melanie, Hunter and Grace, and 2 sisters, Rogean Clodfelter and Betty Leach. In lieu of sending flowers or condolences, the family asks that mourners take a moment to let those in their lives whom they love know just how much they mean to them.
