A golf tournament for active Sun City women octogenarians is Monday, April 12 and Friday, April 16 at the Quail Run Golf Course (Saturday, April 17 is a rain date). Nine holes will be played each day.

Women age 80 by April 1, 2021, with an established USGA handicap, are welcome to enter this event. Entry forms can be found at all Sun City RCSC golf courses.

This year’s entry fee is $20. Green fees, car rental and sweeps are additional. One person per cart unless residing together.

There will be a 50/50 drawing each day. Golfers will be flighted, with each flight having “low gross” and “low net” winners. There will be three specialty holes each day. There is also the “Nifty 90s” category for ladies who are age 90 by April 1, with their own “low gross” and “low net.” Winners will be contacted following Friday play and winnings will be delivered.

To comply with COVID-19 restrictions, tournament players will be assigned a tee time beginning at 8:30 a.m. There will not be a continental breakfast but a brown-bag breakfast will be provided each day. Participants will need to wear masks and maintain social distancing while in the pro shop and the pavilion.
