The ladies of North Golf Course, 12650 N. 107th Ave., Sun City, hosted their 24th annual Pink Ribbon Golf Tournament to benefit two local charities.

Checks were presented to The Women’s Diagnostic Center of Banner Lakes Imaging and the Banner Medical Center’s Cancer Resource Center. The Women’s Center strives to offer modern approaches to detecting cancer in both women and men.

The Pink Ribbon Tournament has been helpful in funding the various programs to aid efforts to give the local community the best possible Imaging Center. Banner’s Cancer Resource Center offers complimentary wigs, head coverings, make-up and support to women undergoing cancer treatment.

Thanks to the golfers, donors and volunteers North Golf Course gave a total of $12,500 to these two beneficiaries.
