Abrazo Arrowhead campus officials celebrated the unveiling of the hospital’s new multimillion-dollar Cardiac and Electrophysiology Suite.
Abrazo Arrowhead employees and doctors got an exclusive first-look preview of the hospital’s new treatment area for heart patients. The investment in state-of-the-art equipment increases the hospital’s capacity for diagnosing and treating a wide array of heart problems.
The new Cardiac and EP Suite will accommodate minimally invasive procedures, such as balloon angioplasty, stents, heart rhythm device placement and more. Hospital leaders, including physicians and governing board members, participated in a ribbon cutting ceremony in the new cardiac catheterization lab, the first phase of the $3.6 million Cardiac and EP Suite project.
“We are opening our brand new cath and EP suite with the latest technology that we could invest in for cardiovascular care,” said Abrazo Arrowhead Campus CEO Stephen Garner. “I’d like to thank everyone for their support for these improvements to provide advanced technology and health resources for our community.”
Abrazo Arrowhead campus, 18701 N. 67th Ave., offers a wide spectrum of advanced procedures for cardiovascular care. The hospital was named among Arizona’s Top five hospitals in a nationwide circulation business news magazine’s 2022-23 “best hospitals” feature.
Serving Glendale and the Northwest Valley since 1988, Abrazo Arrowhead campus is known for its cardiovascular care, surgical services, orthopedics, women’s and other services. It is also a destination for maternity care, including high-risk patients and high order multiple births.
