Efforts geared toward cancer patients

Cancer patients in the Sun City area have a new outlet for replacement hair and renewed self-confidence.

Euphoria Reign, 11116 W. California Ave., Suite L, Youngtown is an upscale beauty salon specializing in hair care and skin care services by an aesthetician in the Sun City area. Shop officials added new services to cater to cancer patients.

“We are expanding our service offerings to include wig maintenance and restoration,” said Lynda Dickens, salon owner and proprietor.

Euphoria Reign added custom wig sales made from the finest human hair in a variety of styles and colors, according to Ms. Dickens. The newest service, wig maintenance and restoration, is available to care for synthetic and human hair wigs.

“This service is another way in which we advance our mission, ‘Maximum Beauty, Maximum Wellness,’” Ms. Dickens said.

Wigs can be picked up at customers’ homes or dropped off at the shop by appointment. It will then be maintained by trained professionals and delivered back to the custmer within 5-7 days, according to Ms. Dickens.

“The service is perfect for those experiencing hair loss from cancer treatments, alopecia, thyroid conditions and aging,” she added.

October is National Cancer Awareness Month.

Euphoria Reign has provided services for the last two years, perfecting services specific to its clientele, according to Ms. Dickens. The salon uses completely vegan and naturally 100% sulphate and paraben free products, a mix of natural and organic ingredients combined with the latest technologies available to offer high-quality products and services.

“At Euphoria Reign, we strive to be a propulsive part of a mindful, compassionate world,” Ms. Dickens said.

Cancer patients are serviced every first Monday of the month with a free service, including shampoo, conditioner and hair cut, to anyone undergoing treatment for cancer.

“Whether you are looking to shave your head completely or figure out a short hairstyle that works for you, allow us to help,” Ms. Dickens said. “A portion of the proceeds from other services to those clients will be donated to the American Cancer Society.”
