For 35 years, Linda Schlicher made music in Arizona through her karaoke business. But eventually, something else began calling her heart. Today, she brings that lifelong love of music to a very different kind of gathering: sound healing.
Schlicher offers sound healing 1 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the Movie Room at Banner Olive Branch Senior Center, 13049 N. 103rd Ave., as part of the monthly offerings of Doing Grief Community Healing Project.
“I was done with the bar scene,” Schlicher said. “I was getting older, and it was time for a change.”
