Mona was a devoted mother to her daughter, Kristin Brand, and a proud grandmother to Brandon Redfern and Ashley Linkert (Alex). She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Easton Redfern and Clayton Linkert, who brought her immense joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Olive Stein; her sister, Sonia Beard (Donald); nephew, Karl Beard; and her son-in-law Kurt Frounde.
Known for her outgoing personality and warm spirit, Mona had a special gift for friendship. She was a member of Christ’s Church of the Valley (CCV) in Arizona, where she generously gave her time volunteering in the church’s Grief Share program. Her compassion and empathy helped hundreds of families navigate the pain of loss.
