Rusty Bradshaw, a 40-plus year journalist will be available to sign his three published books 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, May 7 at the Barnes & Noble, 7401 W. Bell Road, Peoria.

“Gorge Justice” is his latest effort. It is a mystery about a woman who faces trauma at the hands of a sexist, sadistic man from her past. Beaten nearly to death, she struggles to recover and at the same time tries to find justice through the court system. That effort fails on a technicality, despite overwhelming evidence. But the perpetrator meets karma in the end at the hands of surprising source.

“Moist on the Mountain,” Bradshaw’s second book, three recent high school graduates take one last camping trip together before they scatter to the winds to begin their advanced educations. When they discover a church camp across the lake with a bevy of teenage girls, teenage hormones run amuck. But the boys face danger, and exposure of their antics, when one of the girls is seriously injured.

“The Rehabilitation of Miss Little” concerns a young woman who has been teased and bullied all her life. She seeks escape by attending college in another state. But she finds the bullying continues, until she meets a man who wants to help bring her out of her shell. His efforts lands him in jail and the woman, with some help from friends he introduced her to, but in the process uncovers shocking secrets about her benefactor.

Bradshaw has been in the community journalism field for more than 40 years in Oregon and Arizona. He and his wife, Jeanne, live in Glendale.
