Banner Sun Health Research Institute received U.S. congressional recognition.
The award from Rep. Debbie Lesko honors the institute’s work as part of Arizona District 8 and the efforts to improve the lives within the community.
Monic Yelin, Lesko’s outreach director, presented the award to the team Sept. 27, to recognize the efforts underway at the renowned institute to improve understanding, reduce stigma and support clinical care and innovative research to prevent or treat neurodegenerative conditions, like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases.
