AAUW event supports scholarships for women and girls
Posted
A fashion show by New Image Fashions was presented Jan. 16 at the Sun City West Foundation and the money made went to a scholarship fund for women and girls.
There were many baskets made by American Association of University Women Northwest Valley Special Interest Groups, as well as a stained glass piece made by Judy Neigoff and a quilt handmade by another member.
A lunch was catered by Joy Catering and husbands were sommeliers with wine by donation.
AAUW membership is open to anyone holding an associates degree, bachelor’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
