World War II Jewish display at Chandler Center for The Arts this week

"Through the Eyes of Youth: Life and Death in the Bedzin Ghetto" will be on display Tuesday through Thursday, Feb. 6 to 8, at the center, located at 250 N. Arizona Ave., near Downtown Chandler.

This week, a historical display will be able to be viewed by the public at the Chandler Center for the Arts.
"Through the Eyes of Youth: Life and Death in the Bedzin Ghetto" will be on display Tuesday through Thursday, Feb. 6 to 8, at the center, located at 250 N. Arizona Ave., near Downtown Chandler.
Self-guided and docent hours are 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday.
Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 5 p.m., second-generation Holocaust survivor Ettie Zilber will host a discussion.
According to jewishgen.org, the Będzin Ghetto was set up during World War II by Nazi Germany for the Polish Jews in the town of Będzin in occupied southwestern Poland.
According to a Chandler Unified School District news release, highlights include a discussion with an author of a Holocaust memoir, tours with student docents and self-guided tours.
