Highway officials continue to investigate after a 21-year-old woman was killed in a collision in Wittmann.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety reports Aileen Alexia Bustos of Wittmann was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash Friday night near Grand Avenue and 211th Avenue.

DPS said the crash involved a silver 1996 Peterbuilt semi-truck and a black 1996 Nissan Sedan.

DPS said the semi was turning left from 211th Avenue onto Grand Avenue when it collided with the Nissan, driven by Ms. Bustos.

The semi-truck driver was not injured.

The Arizona Fire & Medical Authority tweeted about the incident, reminding motorists to slow down and not drive through accident scenes unless directed by law enforcement
