Wirtzie’s Preschool at Benevilla celebrates the community
Pre-K graduation and open house
Posted
Benevilla’s Wirtzie’s Pre-School and Childcare Program will host a Pre-K Graduation Ceremony and Open House 10 a.m.- noon Saturday, June 3.
The event is open to the public. Wirtzie’s, 16752 N. Greasewood St., Surprise, will have activities for the children and families, light snacks and refreshments, tours of the program and the staff of the Benevilla Family Resource Center will be on hand to provide important resources and free books. Wirtzie’s officials will offer free enrollment to all families who register a child in the program June 3.
“We are so happy to invite the community to see our Pre-K class participate in a formal but fun graduation ceremony and to see all the unique and wonderful things we do for the children at Wirtzie’s.” said director Diane York. “Wirtzie’s Preschool & Child Care is designed to provide an environment enhancing and enabling learning and community while providing quality childcare. Every decision is made with the goal of celebrating individuality and providing a safe, nurturing place to learn and develop.”
Wirtzie’s has received accreditation from the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs. As the child grows, he or she can learn, play and thrive in the facility’s bright, open spaces under the guidance of a well-trained staff. Wirtzie’s officials believe quality childcare programs are built around the relationship between the child and the adults who care for him or her and maintains a low child-to-teacher ratio.
Children can participate in a wealth of fun and educational activities, including the “Intergenerational Program” bringing the children of Wirtzie’s together with the senior members of our Life Enrichment Programs. Through planned activities, children and older adults come together to learn about themselves and each other to form important social skills, empathy, and cross-generational relationships.
