OPINION — I read Mr. Martin’s comments regarding the BNSF intermodal facility that is planned for the Wittmann area but will also impact the communities of Surprise, Sun City, Sun City West and honestly to some degree the communities of Wickenburg, El Mirage and Peoria since that is the U.S. 60/Grand Avenue corridor its being built upon.
His position is not one of neutrality since he is president of the Arizona chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America.
As with the TSMC project or any other project of this size and scope, there will be dozens upon dozens of contractors (general and specialty) that will be involved.
