Arizona must prepare for freight system its economy depends on

OPINION — As president of the Arizona chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, I represent the men and women across the state who construct the manufacturing plants, industrial facilities and public and private infrastructure that power our economy.

Every one of those projects depends on a reliable freight system that can move materials into, around and out of Arizona.

Right now, that system is under growing strain.
