Walk ALS, an annual event in Scottsdale and throughout the country returns Nov. 8 to Salt River Fields, 7555 N. Pima Road.

ALS, often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, causes damage to motor neurons in the brain, which causes progressive weakness.
