State Legislature races will not be bringing voters to the primary polls in Legislative District 29.
One of the more vast districts in the Valley — it stretches all the way from Interstate 10 to the south to the county line, well past the Carefree Highway, LD29 has no primary races in either the Senate or House in July.
Like many years in the Republican-dominated district, two GOP candidates and one Democrat will vie for two spots in the House, while the Senate race in the district is a straight up 1-on-1 battle in the general election.
