Victory appears secure for incumbents in LD8 primary

The incumbents appear poised for victory in the Democratic Primaries for Arizona's 8th Legislative District, which encompasses parts of Phoenix, Tempe, Scottsdale, Mesa and the entirety of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.

As of 12:30 p.m. on July 23, a total of 17,518 ballots have been cast in the primary for a 47.21% turnout, according to the Maricopa County Elections Department.

In the Senate primary, incumbent Lauren Kuby's victory is seemingly secured with 76.77% and 12,930 votes to challenger Deborah Nardozzi's 23.23% and 3,913 votes, respectively.
